Edit XML Profiles
Use the Profile Editor to edit and export profiles in XML format to be available in other project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project). They are stored as XML files.
Ways to access
On the menu, select File > Import or Export > Tilos Data Exchange (XML). Then specify a source/destination and click Edit on page 3 of the Import/Export Wizard.
Select Tools > XML Exchange Profile Editor.
Options
Managing profiles
Open - Click to select a corresponding Tilos profile in XML format. The last used profile in combination with the .hsp file is opened automatically.
Save - Click to store the modified profile.
Save as - Click to select a path for a new profile file to be stored in XML format.
Setting parameters and exchange rules
This section determines between which applications you want to exchange data. If you create the .xml file by yourself, then you may need only one application to define, the Tilos one.
Application 1: If you want to exchange the data with Tilos, we recommend having Tilos to be always Application number 1. This makes sure that always correct tag names are given.
Click Edit to modify either Application 1, Application 2
Tilos Exchange Parameters control the exchange for Tilos itself.
MS Project Exchange Parameters control the exchange for the MS project exchange macro
ASTA Powerproject Exchange Parameters control the exchange for the ASTA Powerproject exchange macro.
Setting the objects and their field lists
All objects that Tilos should import or export have to be listed in the table.
To enter the definition for a selected row, select the row and press the Edit button to edit the list of data fields to exchange (XML Profile Editor Object Field List).
Press Insert to show the Add objects to be exchanged to dialog.
Check the requested cell in the item table to select single items for import/export. This controls if the attributes get in general exported or imported. Appl 1 means Application 1 and has 2 options for import and export.
