Understand Distance Scales
Use the Chart Definition tab to add and edit distance scales in views. to A scale serves the purpose of displaying time or distance information and their allocation to the activities and objects within a time-distance cell. Within a scale, continuous entries, such as years, months, weeks, kilometers or meters are displayed as well as special points on the time or distance.

Create a Distance Scale
Click the button Insert time chart or Insert distance chart on the Insert toolbar.
Move the mouse to the required position in the working window where you want to create the chart. Create the multi-object by clicking and dragging.

or in an already existing chart:
Select the chart object into which you want to insert the resource bar chart. In the Chart Definition tab. Click the button to create a chart.
Select the Type - Distance scale in the Chart Type dialog.
The dialog Distance Scale Lines appears.
Click the + symbol to create a new line in Distance scale and edit the data in Distance Scale Line Properties.
Create a Distance Scale in an Existing Chart
Select the chart object into which you want to insert the resource bar chart. In the tab Chart Definition press the button to create a chart.
Select the Type - Distance scale in the Chart Type dialog. The dialog Distance Scale Lines appears.
Press the + symbol to create a new line in the Distance scale and edit the data in Distance Scale Line Properties.
