Way to access
In the Tilos Explorer, expand Project Data > Distance Axis Definitions > Distance Profiles and double-click an existing profile.
Options
There is a Name and Description assigned to each profile.
Name
Profile ID - A Profile ID is only required if profiles should be imported and updated via data import.
Equation - Select from the drop-down menu a required Equation of preassigned data.
Work rate time unit - Select from the drop-down menu a work rate time unit. The values entered in the column absolute work rate refer to this unit.
Show in distance drop downs - Enable the check box to use a profile for Positioning Activities.
Sort by location - Check the box to activate sorting by station numbers
Use for Activity - Check the box to apply the current profile for the activity calculation and to display the profile listed as an available profile.
Calculate Quantity - The field quantity (e.g.the volume of the space, bordered by two succeeding areas and their joins) can be calculated based on the value Station Area (that has to be edited as a field) Confirm the query dialog with 'OK' or press 'Cancel' to keep the current calculation. The Quantity gets calculated using the field 'Station area' of two stations and the distance between them. The following formula is applied:
Quantity (n+1) = (Station area (n) + Station area (n+1)) * 0,5 * (Distance (n+1) - Distance (n))
Note: 'n' and 'n+1' identify the two following lines in the table.
Distance profile line attributes
The table of Station Points contains the following attributes:
Distance coordinate/ Distance coordinate relative - Location, it can be given in absolute or relative coordinates by using equations.
Text information - like Name and Description
Type - This field refers to the Sector Type list, that can be defined.
Quantity, Work rate, and Absolute Work rate - These can be used in the calculation of an activity.
Steps
Manage profile lines
Add a new entry click the icon 'Add Line', to delete selected entries from the list click the icon 'Remove line'.
