Set Legend Properties
Use the Legend Settings tab to define the number of columns, the proportions, and the formatting within the legend.
Ways to access
On the Insert toolbar, click Insert Activity Legend. Then click a location in the view. Click the Legend Settings tab.
Options
Columns - Enter the number of legend entries that should be placed side by side.
Text width (%) - Enter the relation between the text width and the Activity display.
Row height - Enter the row height.
Margin - How much gap should be left between the description and the edge.
Show horizontal grid - Hides and shows the horizontal grid lines.
Show vertical grid - Hides and shows the vertical grid lines.
Fit to area - Fits the size of the legend to the size of the cell. This option should only be used if the Activity legend is shown in its own cell.
Symbol before text - The description is shown normally before the symbol. Using this option, the symbol is shown before the text.
Font - A list of all registered and available fonts on the computer.
Size/color - Selection of possible font sizes and colours for the description.
Line - The color pallet of the user defined colors for the horizontal and vertical grid lines.
Background - The color pallet of the user defines colors for the background of the legend.
Format the activity legend as bold, italics, underlined, and/or striked-out.
