Define View Grids
Use the Grids tab to define which grid should be shown for time and/or distance in time-distance cells, distance cells, and time cells. To create new grids or edit existing grids access the settings via this tab.
Ways to access
Click in a view and select the Grids tab in the Object Properties pane.
Options
Time Grid
Display - Activate this option to set a printed grid in the cell. Using the drop-down menu, chose a time-related grid scheme.
Label at top/left - Activate this option and the defined labels of the grid lines are displayed along the grid lines.
If the time axis runs vertically, the label is displayed on the left.
If the time axis runs horizontally, the label is displayed at the top.
Label right/bottom - Activate this option and the defined labels of the grid lines are displayed along the grid lines.
If the time axis runs vertically, the label is displayed on the right
If the time axis runs horizontally the label is displayed at the bottom.
Edit - Click this icon to open the dialog Time Grid Properties for a chosen grid.
New - Click this icon to add a new time-related grid. Set the properties within the dialog Time Grid Line Properties.
Distance Grid
Display - Activate this option to display a grid. Using the drop-down menu, chose a distance-related grid scheme.
Label top/left - Activate this option and the defined labels of the grid lines are displayed along the grid lines.
If the distance axis runs vertically the label is displayed on the left.
If the distance axis runs horizontally the label is displayed at the top.
Label right/bottom - Activate this option and the defined labels of the grid lines are displayed along the grid lines.
If the distance axis runs vertically the label is displayed on the right
If the distance axis runs horizontally the label is displayed at the bottom.
Edit - Click this icon to open the dialog Distance Grid Properties for a chosen grid.
New - Click this icon to add a new distance-related grid. Set the properties within the dialog Distance Grid Line Properties.
The enabled option 'Time grid on top of distance grid' displays the time grid in the foreground, in front of the distance grid.
Grids are set in the background of all other objects in the cell. If required select a Layer for the grid to order the grid, according to the Layer Order.
Click on the button 'Font Settings ...' to open the dialog Font Settings to set a user-defined text format.
