Understand Activity Filters
Using a filter, activities are searched for with one or several criteria. If a filter is activated, then only the Activities are shown that meet the filter criteria. These activities can be edited further and new activities can be created. Because the filter does not automatically refresh, you will need to refresh the filter after editing the activities. A colored filter icon is shown in the Time-distance View when a filter is active.
You can use the filters:
Within a view in a time/distance or Gantt chart cell.
Within the Activity list in the subproject.
Within resource profiles for resources.
Within histograms for costs and resources.
Furthermore, filters can also be used for import and export, e. g., ASCII or XML.
