Set Activity Description Properties

Ways to access
Click the Edit description icon in the Activity Segment Description to open the Activity Description Properties dialog.
Options
Description - Press the function key 'F8' to insert a text token or a combination of text tokens to define the content of the required description.
See detailed lists of providedTokens inside the Appendix.
Position - Select from the drop-down menu the required position. Hereby it is defined whether a text should be printed at the Start, Centre or End of a segment.
Distance X/ Distance Y - Define the distance of a text from a segment point via the input fields. The measurements are given in centimeters (cm) or inches (in) depending on the system settings.
Horizontal alignment/Vertical alignment - Choose from the drop-down menus the required horizontal and vertical alignment of an Activity description.
Angle - Set via input field a required angle to define a position of an Activity segment description. If the Apply slope of segment box is checked, the user-defined angle will be ignored.
Apply slope of segment - Enable the check box to set descriptions parallel to each slope of an Activity segment.
Draw connector line - Enable the check box to set a connector line between a description and the connection point of an Activity.
Hidden - Enable the checkbox to define which type of segment annotation should be printed.
Activity segments types
Show on work segments - Enable the checkbox to display Activity segments only for sections with unchecked non-work attributes.
Show on non-work segments - Enable the checkbox to display Activity segments only for sections with checked non-work attributes.
Show on setup time segments - Enable the check box to display Activity segment descriptions only for sections that are defined as setup time.
Font settings
Fonts - Choose a Font Type from the drop-down menu.
Size - Choose a Font Size from the drop-down menu.
Font Color - Choose a Font Color from the drop-down menu.
Background - Choose a Background Color from the drop-down menu.
Bold/Italic/Underline - Enable a checkbox to set a Font Style.
Filter
Apply a distance filter to avoid the overlapping of Activity segment descriptions with other objects.
Create Text only between - Enable the check box to set a segment description at a certain area.
Start Distance/End Distance - Set a user-defined filter for the certain superscribed Activity segment description.
