Figure: Creating a Mass Haulage Diagram
Steps
Prepare a cell for the diagram
Click in an empty cell in a ? view.
In the Object Properties pane > Cell Settings tab, click the Cell Wizard icon.
In the Cell type list, choose Mass Haulage Diagram and click OK.
In the Filter Mass Haulage Diagram dialog, check the box next to each sub-project whose items are to be displayed in the diagram.
… See the Filtering Mass Haulage Diagrams help topic for more information.
Click OK to close the dialog.
Select or create content for the cell and click OK. This extra cell content is only for storing additional annotations. For more information, see the Selecting Cell Content help topic.
Select the corresponding Distance Master Cell and click OK.
Create the mass areas
Right-click the Mass Haulage Diagram cell and select Add New Mass Area from the context menu.
Enter a Name and Mass area ID for the new mass area.
Choose a Sub-project as a container for the mass area objects.
In the Mass Type list, choose from the area types created in the library.
Specify the Start (distance) and End (distance) of the area.
Enter the Area Quantity; Tilos will calculate the position of the mass balance point (you can subsequently edit the value).
To display various mass layers, enter a number in the Level field.
In the picture above, e.g., the (CUT) area C1 does have a lower level than the (R-CUT) area RC 1 and is hence displayed above. Areas in the fill section of the diagram (below the centerline)are stacked the other way around (a lower level leads to a lower location) …
Tip: Assign the number 10 to the lowest level, increasing the numbers in steps of ten for the following levels.
Note: Newly created mass haulages are assigned the default haulage type, which can be set by selecting Tools > Options > Project (2) and choosing a type in the Default haulage type list at the lower right. You can also do this in the Tilos Explorer > Library > Others Libraries > Haulage Types by right-clicking on a haulage type and selecting Set as Default in the context menu.
Calculate and display the mass haulages
Activate a mass area in the diagram by either:
Drawing a haulage line to another mass area (destination) using the minus icon that is displayed on the upper border of the objects.
or
Using the haulages table (displayed in the Mass Haulage Diagram tab when the diagram is active) by first clicking the icon (to create a new line) and then the Edit icon, that will open the Mass Haulage Properties dialog.
Define properties in the dialog to display the related haulage line in the Mass Haulage Diagram.
