Add, Remove, and Edit Filter Criteria
Ways to access
In the Tilos Explorer, expand Library > Other Libraries > Units from the libraries and you will see a list of existing units in the working area.
Double-click an existing unit in the explorer or select a currency in the Currency view and click the Edit Properties icon on the right side to open the Currency Properties dialog.
Steps
Open the dialog Activity Filter to create new filters, edit, delete or copy filters.
Choose one of the predefined filters from the list.
Click the button 'New' to set a user-defined filter according to the required criteria of a current (Sub-) Project.
Several conditions may be necessary when you create filter criteria.
In the Tilos Explorer, click to expand Library > Other Libraries and double-click Activity Filters to see a list of existing types in the working window.
Select a filter in the table and click the Edit Properties icon on the right side to open the Filter Criteria dialog.
Enter a Name that describes the function of the filter, e.g., Critical activities.
To Include Summary Activities, check the box.
Choose a criteria option:
Meet ALL criteria (AND) - If you define several conditions in a filter criteria, they are automatically defined as AND criteria.
Meet ANY criteria (OR) -
According to a defined/selected filter one row (for one filter criterium) will be generated automatically.
Use the buttons on the right to:
Add Criteria - Add a new blank row in the table in which you can define another filter.
Delete Criteria - Remove a selected filter.
Edit Criteria - Open the Filter Criteria dialog. For details, see the Creating and Editing Filter Criteria help topic.
To create filter criteria that apply only to activities from specific sub-projects, check the Sub-project filter box.
Click the Sub-project Filter icon.
Check the Select box next to one or more sub-projects.
If the sub-project filter is not enabled, the filter applies to activities from all sub-projects.
To execute the filter directly, click the Apply Filter button. …
To save the editing of Activity Filter and/ or Filter Criteria without executing click 'No Filter'.
Click OK.
Creating and Editing Filter Criteria
In the Filter Criteria dialog, enter a descriptive Name for the filter, e. g.,
Total float = 0.Use the buttons on the right to:
Add Criteria - Add a new blank row in the table in which you can define a criterion. If you define several conditions in a filter criteria, they are automatically defined as AND criteria.
Delete Criteria - Remove a selected criterion.
In the table, specify or edit these fields:
Parameter - Click in the field and select an option.
Is - Once you have selected a parameter, click in the field and select an operator option.
Value - Enter a value for the criteria, e.g., Total float equals 0.
To allow wildcards, check the Wildcard searching box. …
To use upper- or lower-case when filtering, check the Case sensitive search box.
Click OK.
