Calculate: Duration

The duration of an activity is calculated using the entered quantity and work rate value. Also see Calculate Activities.

1. Select an activity.

2. Select in the Details Toolbar on the tab Calculation, Calculate: Duration.

3. Enter the Quantity and select a Unit for the Quantity.

4. Enter the Planned work rate value and select the Time unit for the work rate.

The work rate value corresponds to the work rate per chosen time unit.

Example: m²/h.

5. The Duration is calculated using the Quantity/work rate.

To calculate the quantity over the distance, set the value in the field Set quantity by to activity length and enter the Quantity factor (how many units per 1 unit of distance).

Example: At a distance of 1 meter, 4 m³ of earth is lifted. 4
