Lay Out Views

Use the View Layout tab to define the sizes of the rows and columns in a view. The tab contains the column and row layout of this view. The total settings of all rows and columns equals the page size of a view for printing. In addition, you can define custom View Text Fields can be defined in this tab. You may display the values of these fields on the printout by using text tokens.

Use the icon to add rows or columns or delete selected rows or columns with the icon.

The arrows show currently selected cells.

Rows and columns within a view are counted from left to right or from top to bottom. The outer rows and columns are combined as a border. A blue arrow marks the relevant row and column for a selected cell.

The following entries can be edited for a row or column:

Free text fields

Click the button 'View Text Fields' to define up to six additional text fields. These text fields can be used as View Tokens within a cell, e.g., to add notes.

To set the ruler on the left and upper edge, select one of these:

The border around the main cell system can be hidden using the option Show border. If you activate this option, the outer (border) cell will be shown.

In general, these border cells are used to display objects of forms like logos, etc.

Within a small page size, the text appears larger than on a larger paper format. In order to avoid changing all text sizes or line widths, enter a percentage factor for the view:
