Display Activities
Use an activity template from the libraries for the presentation of activities. You can also define an individual activity in the plan and change the attributes afterward. You can create a new activity template from such a defined activity for further usage.
Ways to access
Exchange Activity templates
Select an activity and select the Display tab in the Details Toolbar.
If you exchange the Activity template by selecting another entry in the template list, the dialog Adjust To Template appears on the screen:
Display settings - Enable the checkbox to update the Activity’s appearance based on the new template’s settings.
Detail settings - Enable the checkbox to update the Activity Details, including the Name.
Annotations - Enable the check box to update the content and position of an activity annotation.
Annotation content - Enable the checkbox to update the Activity’s text labels based on the new template’s settings.
Annotation position - Enable the checkbox to update the position of the text labels based on the new template’s settings.
Resource assignments - Enable the check box to update the allocated costs and resources of an activity.
Category assignments - Enable the checkbox to update the Activity’s associated categories based on the new template’s settings.
Calculation data - Enable the checkbox to update the calculation information (Calculation tab).
Confirm the dialog with OK.
Click the icon to edit the Activity template directly.
Change the presentation of an activity
Select an Activity and click the Tab - Display tab in the Details Toolbar.
Select an Activity type. You can now edit the Activity lines and the shapes around the Activity.
Select an existing line style from the combo list. Using the button edit line style the line style can be individually adjusted or new definitions can be created.
Assign the Activity line a color.
Using the option hide Activity line, the line for shape Activity types can be hidden.
Change or save Activity templates
Once you have adjusted the Activity to meet your wishes, you can use these settings to update an existing activity template or to save a new activity template.
Click the Presentation tab and then the Edit Activity template button next to the activity templates list.

Click activity with the right mouse button and select the entry Save as template.
The Edit Activity template dialog is opened.
Create a new template from a selected activity - Creates a new activity template with the presentation of the selected one. Enter a name for the new Activity template. The new activity template is entered as a sub-entry to the selected one!
Overwrite selected with settings from activity - Overwrites the activity template with the current settings.
Open editor with selected activity - Opens the actual activity template for editing in the working window.
Assign selected template to selected activity - Exchanges the activity template for the selected template. The dialog Adjust To Template: is opened.
Select the appropriate option to create or overwrite and click OK.
