Annotate Activities
Use the Add Activity Annotation dialog to ... Further graphic objects, such as text comments, can be added to activities and linked to the activity.
Ways to access
Right-click and select Edit > Create Activity Annotation.
Options
Name - Name the text comment. Objects on the tab other objects of the time-distance cell will be listed under this name.
Pin Point - To which position of the activity should the text comment be attached?
Scaling - Should the text comment be scaled when changing the scale?
Recommendation: Do not set a scale for text comments.
Enter your text in the input field. Using the F8 - key you can receive a list of data fields that give information about the Activity.
Confirm with OK.
Change the annotation format
After adding the description, the text comment is automatically selected and can be edited over the Details Toolbar.
Select on the Text tab, the format, alignment, and angle of the text comment.
Change to the FigurePosition tab.
Here you can select a Layer for this text comment amongst other things.
Using the box point and length values a gap between the text comment and the pin point can be defined. You can then move the text comment away from the Activity.
Activate the option Print connector line, a connector line will then be entered from the pin point to the text comment. You can define the presentation of this line in dialog - Settings - Graphic attributes.Â
