Group Gantt Chart Activities
Use the ... dialog to group Gantt chart activities.
Ways to access
Options
Display Groups as - There are 3 different methods of display:
Headlines - For each grouping level a headline is generated.
Headlines with Ribbons - In addition to the headline, also a vertical ribbon is created, displayed in the same color as the headline.
Ribbon Group (allows Pictures) - In this mode no horizontal group summaries, but vertical Ribbons Groups are created. In Ribbon Group mode also pictures can be added to the ribbons:- Instead of the group text or with the group text.

The Gantt chart is now organized by 3 levels of summary activities. The grouping model can contain multiple levels, therefore a line system is created. Each line represents one level of grouping.
If you select Categories or WBS as grouping criteria, the attribute "To level" decides how many sub-entries to the selected level are created. In these sub-levels, only the display options can be edited.
Other settings
Click the icon 'Add ' to add a new group line or on the icon 'Delete the selected line.
Click the icon 'Edit group line and the enhanced setting can be edited in the dialog Grouping Properties.
Click the Line up and Line down symbol to change the order of the existing lines.
Line Settings
Display Each Activity on a Separate Line - If this option is checked then for each Activity an own bar line is created. If this Option is unchecked Tilos will display all the assigned bars for this lven in just one line. Uncheck this to get more than one bar on the same line.
Display Group Activities in Bars Area - This Option Toggle is the Summary Activity Symbol in The Bars Area is displayed or not.
Display Bar Lines Without Group Allocation - If this option is checked, then all Activities, not fitting to any of the group criteria will be displayed in a group named : None. If this option is not checked, the unassigned Activities are not displayed at all.
Display Calendar Pattern on Headline - Only active in headline Grouping mode. You may decide, if the Display calendar colors (e.g. free time, weekendes) are also displayed for the virtual group Activities.
Structural Activity Filter
Display Summary Activities - You can switch on and off Summary Activities here. In group mode Summary Activities can lead to misunderstandings, as they look the same as group summaries
Display WBS Summary Activities - You can switch on and off WBS Summary Activities here.
Display Category Summary Activities - You can switch on and Category Summary Activities here.
Structural Activity Filter - This option allows to exclude Summary elements from the Gantt, as in the Groupe Mode New Grouping "summary" elements are created.
Display Summary Activities - If this option is true, then summary Activities are also included into the filter
Display WBS Summary Activities - If this option is true, then WBS summary Activities are also included into the filter
Display Category Summary Activities - If this option is true, then Category summary Activities are also included into the filter.
