Change Activity Data Globally
Use the Global Change dialog to quickly modify activity data for multiple activities. Selecting the data to change, another dialog is called to set the specific data for the data exchange.
Ways to access
Select an activity in a view or list and select Activity Creation > Global Change.
Press F10.
Options
Activity Data to Change
Replace Activity Data - The basic activity data can be changed like Name, Dates ...
Activity ID - The Activity ID can be regenerated.
Resource Data - The resource data of an activity change is generated.
Recalculate Resources from Contract - This function recalculates the resource allocations for activities based on the contract items assigned to the activity.
Change of direction - This function changes the working direction of the activities
Shift Activities in Distance - This function works only in relation to equations, e.g., if in a pipeline project, a bypass has to be built and the length increases.
Activities to Change
Activities Selected - The action selected is executed for all selected activities in the cell, where this function has been called from.
All Activities in Current Filter - The action selected is executed for all activities in the cell with the current filter applied, where this function has been called from.
All Activities in Subproject - The action selected is executed for all activities in the sub-project, where this function has been called from.
