Define Equations
Use the Equation Item Properties dialog to define the absolute station and the equation for a station.
Ways to access
In the Tilos Explorer, expand Project Data > Distance Axis Definition > Equations. To add a new entry click the icon 'Add Equation', to delete selected entries from the list click the Delete Equation icon. Click the icon to edit the properties inside the dialog 'Equation Properties'. To open the dialog click the icon 'Properties' inside the dialog 'Equation Properties'.
Alternatively, open the dialog 'Equation Properties' by double-clicking a sub-level entry of the 'Equations'. To open the dialog click the icon 'Properties' inside the dialog 'Equation Properties'.
Options
Absolute station - Enter a required value for a station point on which the equation should be applied in the base unit. Changing this value will also update the length if other equation items follow.
Equation - Enter a required value for an equation in the base location unit. By inserting a bypass enter a negative value. You will have then in a certain area double station numbers. By cutting out a bypass or a positive jump inside the distance axis enter a positive value.
Length - The length decides upon the distance length up to the next equation. This value in the last entry within the list is not relevant. If you change the Length, the Absolute station of all following equations will be changed.
Station ahead - This field shows the relative station point number ahead of the equation and cannot be edited.
Station post - This field shows the relative (new) station point post the equation and cannot be edited.
Text - Input field to enter additional information.
Note: Define also the distance segment as an Entry within the Equation Group using the Equation as an entry = 0.
