Understand Text Fields
Text fields are multiline annotations. Use tokens to display complex text information, such as project descriptions, resource allocations, or free descriptions. Text objects can be rotated at the pivot of a Text field box.
Ways to access
Click the Insert Text Field icon on the Insert toolbar and click a location in a view.
To edit an existing text field, select it in a view and click the Text Field tab in the Object Properties pane.

Note: If data entries are changed the equivalent variables (Tokens) will be updated immediately.

Steps
Create a text field
Click the Insert Toolbar the icon 'Text Field' or select from the menu Insert/ Object the submenu 'Textfield'.
Place the mouse pointer at the required position in the working window.
Create the object Textfield by a left mouse click and drag a text box.
Drag the handles to modify the size of a Textfield box with the mouse.
Edit inside the tabs 'Multiline Text' and 'FigurePosition' of the Object Properties Toolbar the attributes of a Textfield.
Connect a text field with an activity
Select the required Text Field.
Select and drag the Pinpoint onto an existing Activity and release it.
Note: Activity tokens are just indicated if the Textfield is connected to an Activity.
Set Defaults for Creating Objects
Select an object from the Insert Toolbar and set the required defaults before drawing inside of the Preset Toolbar.
These defined settings will be inherited by all following objects of the current object type.
