Auto-save every - Set a user-defined storage time sequence (min). Specify how often to automatically save your project file.
Create backup file (*.hsb) on manual save - Create a backup file when you save your project.
Note: To open an HSB backup file, simply change the file extension from .hsb to .hsp. Then you should be able to open your backup file like any other Tilos project.
Open configuration folder icon - Open the folder containing the TILOSUserConfig.ini file.
Refresh from configuration file - Update Tilos with any changes you made to the TILOSUserConfig.ini file
Compress project files - 'Zip’ project files to reduce their file size by up to ~75%. This is useful for saving space while you work and also when you want to archive or share a file with a colleague.
The compressed files have the extension .hspzip and can be opened and worked on in Tilos without unzipping them. This setting is stored locally (in the TILOSUserConfig.ini), not in the project file itself. When you are working in a compressed file, the .hspzip extension is shown on the Tilos titlebar.
If you are working in a compressed project file and decide to disable Compress project files, you are given these options:
Overwrite the file - Update your previous uncompressed project file (.hsp) with the changes you made in the compressed project file.
Make backup of the existing file and overwrite - Same as above, but gives you the 'insurance' of a backup copy of the current .hsp file.
The backup file is located in the same location as your original project file. The backup file’s name is the same as the saved project file, but the backup extension is .hsb when switched from uncompressed to compressed and .hsbzip when switched from compressed to uncompressed mode.
Note: The zip/unzip process can slow down the save speed, especially when working on larger projects.
Recommendation: Do not compress files when working on a project saved to a network where the data storage location is uncertain or when working on portable devices like tablets because saving will be slower than normal.
