Calculate End Distances Based on Train Setups
Use the ...dialog to ... This dialog allows you to change the train setup based on activity data. The train setup is done using the resource calculation by setting the train role of the resource allocation. There needs to be a resource allocation of the Resource (to calculate) role.
Ways to access
On the Calculation tab, click the Calculate end distance based on train setup icon.Â
Prerequisite
For this calculation, the activity quantity is calculated in relation to the lengths of the activity.
Options
The Option: Set quantity by need to be set to Distance or Profile.
The goal of this calculation is to set the lengths of the Activity in relation to the capacity of the train or of the daily shift time.
There are three models available:
Quantity - The user enters a value, e. g., how much ballast should be delivered with one train. After entering this value and pressing OK, Tilos does the following calculations:
Calculates the distance that can be serviced by this train using distance-based consumption of Activity.
Calculates the end time of the Activity.
Calculates how many resources are needed to take the quantity delivered.
Calculates the length and weight of the train.
Number of wagons - The user just enters the number of wagons to inspect the train and also the cargo of 1 wagon.
Tilos calculates first the quantity of the Activity= Number of wagons * Cargo of one wagon. Then it does the same calculations as in the model work above.
By end date - Enter an end date and time. Clickng the time button right Tilos sets the end time based on the current days' end working time.
Calculates the distance value for the given date and time information and the length of the activity.
Calculates the quantity.
Calculates how many resources are needed to take the quantity delivered.
Calculates the length and weight of the train.
