Understand Distance Grids
Grids improve the orientation on the distance and time axis. Grid lines can be created at regular intervals (e. g. every 500 meters), or you can define special grid lines at special points (e. g. axis of construction Quantity). Additionally, the name of each grid line within a grid can be shown as text.
For a distance grid, grid lines can be created in regular intervals or at special station points. This can be done directly inside the grid list, by reducing the range (from ... to), by using a predefined distance profile.
Ways to access
Select in Tilos Explorer > Library > Distance Axis > Grids and you will see a list of already existing distance grid settings in the Working Window.

Add and edit
Using the buttons on the right edge you can add new grids, delete selected entries from the list and open the Properties.
Tip: You can also use the export/import to clipboard functionality to save grid settings from a previous version in a backup file, and then open and compare them in a newer version. See Setting Time Grid Properties.
