Use Progress Methods
There are six different methods for entering progress. The default progress method can be defined within activity templates.
Ways to access
Select an activity in a view and click the Progress tab in the Object Properties pane.
Ways to enter progress
Simple progress methods (no activity split)
Percentage - Progress is entered as a percentage value directly in the Progress field in the middle section of this tabulator.
Quantity - Progress is entered using quantity. The progressed quantity set in relation to the quantity gives a percentage completed value. The progress can be entered directly in the Quantity field in the middle section of this tabulator.
Steps - Progress in percentage completed is calculated based on the progress of the activity steps. The progress can only be entered in the tabulator steps.
Advanced progress modes (activity gets split)
Percentage - Progress is entered as a percentage and the activity is split into a progressed and a not progressed activity. Additionally, the distance can be entered for the progress to show where the work was done.
Quantity - Progress is entered using the quantity. The activity is split into a progressed and a not progressed activity. Quantity has to be applied to the activity, otherwise, progress cannot be reported. Additionally, the distance can be entered for the progress to show where the work was done.
Distance - Progress is entered using the distance coordinates of already performed parts of an activity. The activity is split into a progressed and a not progressed activity.
Note: Once you have created progress for an activity, the progress method can no longer be changed.
