Set Source Data Properties
Using this Data Sources and Settings dialog, you can define general settings of the entry such as the name and the type, as well as the data source over the subprojects, accounts, and resources.
Data Source and Settings
Name - Enter a name for the histogram entry. This name is shown as a legend on the value table.
Data source
Allocations (accounts) - The Account values coming from Allocations are evaluated in the histogram.
Allocations (resources) -The Resource values coming from Allocations are evaluated in the histogram.
Profile data - The values from a distance or time profile are evaluated in the histogram.
Activity data (schedule) - Values from Activities are evaluated in the histogram.
Activity data (baseline) - Values from the active baseline Activities are evaluated in the histogram
Mass Haulage - Values from Mass Haulage, Mass transportation and assigned Activities are evaluated in the histogram (This Data Source is only available for DISTANCE histograms)
Report Data Field - The Report Data field defines which Value will be evaluated in the histogram. Depending on the Data Source there are different data fields, that are listed below:
Allocations (accounts)
Income - The income of the selected account(s) is evaluated.
Cost - The cost of the selected account(s) is evaluated.
Allocations (resources)
Effort of time [permanents] - The Effort of the selected permanent resource(s) is evaluated.
Quantity used [consumables] - The used quantity of the selected consumable resource(s) is evaluated.
Allocation [permanents] - The allocation (Number of) the selected permanent resource(s) is evaluated.
Cost of Allocations - The total cost produced from the selected resource(s) are evaluated.
Income of Allocations - The total income produced from the selected resource(s) are evaluated.
Quantity supplied [consumables] - The supplied quantity of the selected consumable resource(s) is evaluated. (These are those having the supply flag checked.)
Planning state - Select from the list, if the Allocation values are taken from Tab - Allocations (planned) or Tab - Allocations (actual)
Profile Data
Diverse Fields - First Select a Profile in Field Profile. Then the Name / Custom name of the Profile value is listed in the Dropdown. Select the field you like to evaluate.
Activity Data (schedule + baseline))
Quantity - The Quantity defined for the Activity in Tab - Calculation
Progress Value (calculated) - Calculated progress Value for that Activity based on 'Calculate Progress by' in Dialog - Options - Progress
Total Progress Value - Total Progress Value for the Activity defined in Tab - Progress
Numeric 1 - 9 - The Custom fields Numeric 1 - 9 from Tab - Details
Income - Total Income on the Activity coming from Tab - Allocations (planned)
Cost - Total Cost on the Activity coming from Tab - Allocations (planned)
Duration - Activity Duration in Hours
Effort (time) of Labor resources - Total Effort in Hours of Labor-Allocations from Tab - Allocations (planned)
Quantity Actual - Actual Quantity from Tab - Progress
Haul Product - Haul Product from assigned Haulages
Fill (mass haulage) - Assigned Fill Quantity defined in Tab - Calculation
Cut (mass haulage) - Assigned Cut Quantity defined in Tab - Calculation
Mass Haulage
Area Quantity - The Area Quantity that is defined in Dialog - Mass Area
Haul Product - The Haul Product Value defined in Dialog - Mass Haulage
Haul Quantity - The Haul Quantity: Total of all Haulage Lines
Haul Quantity (remaining) - The Remaining Haul Quantity = Area Quantity - Haul Quantity
Scheduled Quantity - The Scheduled Quantity: Total of all Quantities scheduled on Activities
Scheduled Quantity (remaining) - The Remaining Scheduled Quantity: Area Quantity - Scheduled Quantity
Actual Quantity - The Quantity, that is progressed in Tab - Progress
Filter
Create an Activity filter or select a filter for the evaluation of the data.
Diagram Presentation
Display graphic - Toggle the visibility of bar graphs and line graphs.
Display as - Select to display the graph as a bar graph or a line graph
Display value table - Toggle the visibility of the value table.
Cumulate - Switch on to cumulate the values along the axis: Newest Value gets added to the sum of values before. If not activated, the value per selected unit (time/distance) is displayed.
Cumulate only to report - Data will be displayed only until report date
Fill area under line - When displaying the values as a line the area below the line is filled with the same color.
Presentation Group - Every entry in a histogram can be assigned to a presentation group. There is Group 1 and Group 2.

Foreground - Color for the column or the line, or the color of a selected pattern.
Background - Color for the background of a column with a pattern.
Pattern - Pattern for the presentation of a column.
Line width - The width of the line. The value is shown in points (pkt), (1 inch is equivalent to 72
Style - Selection list for the line style.
Report scope
Sub-projects - Activate the subprojects to be evaluated.
Select resources/accounts - click this button to select the evaluation of one or more resources or accounts. Only the selected resources accounts are going to be evaluated. If nothing is selected, you get no result.
Filter by delivery center assignment - If you have allocated a delivery center to resource allocation, the evaluation is related to the selected delivery center only.
Mass types - On Mass Haulage diagrams only you get a list of mass types that you want to evaluate.
