Import/Export - Step 2

Use page 2 of the Import/Export Wizard to define the data import source or export destination.

• Start at Import/Export - Step 1.

Steps

1. On the second screen, choose a source or destination option (depending on your selection in Step 1):

• For Plain Text Data (TXT) or generic XML Data (XML) text-based formats, choose either:

  • File - Export/import a single file.

or

• Clipboard – Paste to/copy from your computer’s clipboard.

• For Microsoft Excel Data Exchange (XLS) or Microsoft Excel Report formats:

For export

• Click Select, browse to specify a file path, and add a file name.
  The default is C:\ProgramData\Tilos\<version-Data>\Exchange\Data\*.xml
  For export, the selected file is just used as a template, no matter if it is an XLS or XLT file. After export, you have to select Save as in Excel to store the file.

For import

• Click Select, and browse to the file you want to import. For import, this must be an existing XLS file. Otherwise, the Next button is not enabled.

   2.  Click Next to proceed to step 3 in the wizard.
