Filter Activities
Use the Filter Criteria or view to create new filters, and edit, delete, or copy filters. Use the Activity Filter dialog to apply a filter.
Ways to access
In the menu, select Tools > Filter to add and delete filters, or edit filter criteria.
Right-click in a view or Gantt chart and select Set Filter in the context menu to apply a filter to the view/chart.
In the Tilos Explorer, expand Views > Activity List. Double-click an existing task list and click the Filter icon on the right side above the list.
Click the Filter icon in any other dialog or diagram, such as a histogram.
Steps
Choose from the drop-down menu one of the predefined filters:
Click the button 'New' to set a user-defined filter according to the required criteria of a current (Sub-) Project.
Create and/or edit a new activity filter
Enter a Name for the filter which describes the function of the filter, e. g. critical Activities.
Check the Include summary activities box.
Depending on an already set range of filter criteria enable the option to 'Meet ALL criteria' [ AND-Function ] resp. choose the option 'Meet ANY Criteria' [ OR-Function ].
According to a defined/ selected filter one row (for one filter criterium) will be generated automatically.
Click the 'New' icon to add a new filter criterion.
Options
Filter Criteria
Filter Criteria - Click the icon to open the dialog Filter Criteria.
Delete - Click the icon to remove filter criteria.
Cancel - Click to close the Activity Filter dialog.
Apply Filter - Click the button to execute the filter directly.
No Filter - Click to save the editing of Activity Filter and/or Filter Criteria without executing.
Sub-project filter - Select one or more subproject(s). The Filter settings then are used to select only Activities from this Project(s). If the subproject filter is not active, the filter chooses Activities from ALL subprojects.
