Create and Edit Text Fields

Use the Text Field tab to create or edit an existing object to define the font format, style, alignment, and margins of a text object in a view.

Ways to access

Click the Insert Text Field icon on the Insert toolbar and click a position for the text in the view. Then select the Text Field tab in the Object Properties pane.

Font - Select from the drop-down menu a required Font. The indicated fonts are given by the system.
Font Size - Select from the drop-down menu a required Font Size or enter a numeral manually.
Font Color - Select from the drop-down menu a required Font Color of the system color pallet.
Background - Select from the drop-down menu a required Background Color of the system color pallet.
Border - Select from the drop-down menu a required Border Color of the system color pallet.
Angle - Enter a required value for a fixed angle of a text field related to the corresponding Activity. The input field 'Angle' turns inactive if the following check box is enabled.
Apply slope of an Activity - Enable the checkbox to adjust a text field according to the slope of an Activity segment within the Activity.
Manual size - Enable the check box to set and fix the size of a text field manually.

Set the margins of a text field corresponding to the Top, Bottom, Left and Right, Border in inches or centimeters.

Top border - Enter a required value for the top margin.
Set for all - Press the button to set the first entry (Top Border) for all margins.
Bottom border - Enter a required value for the bottom margin.
Left border - Enter a required value for the left margin.
Right border - Enter a required value for the right margin.
Percent of the line height - Enter a required value for the line height.
