Menus
File Menu
The File menu contains these items:
New - Create a new project (tab 'New Project') or open a project (tab 'Open project'). Creating a new file opens the Sub-Project Settings dialog where you can choose to use a template.
Open - Open an existing project.
Close - Close a current project. If changes have taken place without saving, confirm to save the changes or 'Cancel' to leave the query dialog.
Save - Save the current project.
Save As - Save the current project file (*.hsp) under a different name or in a different directory.
Save as Template - Save the current project file as a template. The dialog leads automatically to the templates directory. Project templates have the file suffix *.hst.
Import - Open the Import Wizard.
Export - Open the Export Wizard.
Create Presentation or Print - Open the 'Print' dialog where you can specify page setup and printer settings, the paper size, and/or the orientation. see pagination, and then start the print job..
1..., 2..., 3..., 4... - Displays a list of the most recently opened project or template files.
Exit - Close the program. If changes have taken place without saving, confirm to save the changes or 'Cancel' to leave the query dialog.
Edit Menu
The Edit menu contains the following two actions:
Undo - Select 'Undo' (Ctrl+Z) to return to the last actions.
Redo - Select the function 'Redo' (Ctrl+Y) to cancel a previous 'Undo'. The function 'Redo' is object-based and can be executed until the last saving inside the current project.
View Menu
The View Menu contains the following items:
History back (Ctrl+B) - Going back to the last opened view content of the current Tilos window.
History forward (Ctrl+F) - Reloading an already opened view content forwards of the current Tilos window.
The Icon 'Go Back' resp. 'Go Forward' of the Main Toolbar is the equivalent function to the previously mentioned commands.
Toolbars - Hides/ shows the toolbars. Using the function reset the
Restore Default Grid Layouts - Use this function to reset the displayed properties in the columns of a table (e. g. in the libraries) to the original program settings.
Status Bar - Hides/shows the Status Bar on the bottom edge of the opened Tilos desktop.
Insert Menu
The menu 'Insert' contains the following items:
View - Use the function View to insert a new view. Enter the name in the dialog 'New view' for the new view and Confirm or Cancel.
Sub-Project - Use the function Sub-Projects to insert a new sub-project. Enter a Name for the new Sub-Project and set project-related data of Distance, Date, and Time.
Object - Opens the list of all provided objects.
Cells Menu
The Cells menu contains these items:
Row - Use the entry rows, to insert rows or to delete the selected row in the cell system of an Integrated View.
Column - Use the entry columns, to insert columns or to delete the selected column in the cell system of an Integrated View.
Connect Cells - Use the entry connect cells, to create or remove a connection from the selected cell to another cell in an Integrated View.
Note: Cells that already contain data or objects cannot be connected/glued together.
Left/Right/Up/Down - Merge the selected cell with the cell or cells adjacent to it (if possible). In some cell configurations, there is no logical way to connect them, so the operation is ignored. Connect cells is the same as glue cells on the View Toolbar.
Unglue Cells - Restore All Previously Glued Cells Within The Selected Cell To Their Previous Positions.
Zoom In/Zoom out - Increases/decreases the zoom factor for the view.
Zoom Mode - Use The Magnifier And Drag A Rectangle. The Content Of The Rectangle Is Displayed As Increased.
Display Page Width - This Tool Resizes The View Scale, That The Full Width Of The View Is Visible On Screen.
Display Page Height - This Tool Resizes The View Scale, That The Full Height Of The View Is Visible On Screen.
Scroll Mode - Moves The Actual Screen Section Horizontally And Vertically.
Zoom - Select A Zoom Factor For The Current View.
Print - Click This Button To print the current view.
Display Pagination - Displays The Pagination (Page Breaks) As Blue Separator Lines
Global Change - Opens The Dialog For Global Changes To The Activities.
View Details - Opens The Dialog For View Settings and Layout
Other - Set All Cell Ranges To The Range Of The Selected Cell
Tools Menu
The Menu - Tools contains the following tools:
Options -
Refresh View (filters, diagrams) - All used filters within the view are again executed with this function.

Window Menu
The menu window contains the following points:
New window - Use the function new window, to open a new window in the working area.
Cascade - Use this function, to sort open windows overlapping. The title bar and the left edge of each window remain visible.
Tile horizontal - Use this function, to position the open windows horizontally, so that all windows are visible and not overlapping.
Tile vertical - Use this function, to position the open windows vertically, so that all windows are visible and not overlapping.
Arrange icons -
Sort symbols - Use the function sort symbols, to position all windows as symbols on the bottom edge of the program. ...
Close all windows - Use this function, to close all open windows.
1, 2, 3, 4 - These are the names of the open windows. You can move each window into the foreground by selecting the relevant name.
Help Menu
The menu -help contains the following points:
About - This function gives information on the installed build and version. Click the button: Check for the latest version to go to the Tilos website and look for the latest available version.
What’s this? - Use this function to activate the direct help cursor. This cursor gives context-sensitive help on menus, dialogs, options, and fields within dialogs. Click the menu point direct help and the cursor changes to the help cursor. Move the cursor over the required object or area and click. The relevant page of the online help is opened.
Help - Use the function help, to start the online help. You are currently reading the online help.

Start Online Support - You may start an Online Conference Tool when you are asked for from Tilos Hotline.
Check And Repair Data - This function checks the current Tilos file for possible errors and corrects them if possible.
