Options
Date
Report date - The Progress entry is always related to a report date. Enter a report date here and it will be used for the whole subproject.
Start date - The date on which the actual work started. The value is pre-calculated from the planning data, but you can change this date if the Activity starts earlier or later.
End date - The date on which the actual work is finished. This date lies on the report date, if the planned Activity does not finish earlier.
Method - Shows the selected progress method. The value can not be changed.
Performed - Activate this option and the selected Activity will be set to 100 % completed in the given start and end period.
Work break - If no work was performed, check this option. The system shows then just a vertical line with no progress assigned.
Progress
The progress is mainly shown in distance values in 2 sets:
Depending on the progress method selected, Tilos shows the following values that can be entered. It always shows 2 values, the planned values as a list field and under that an input box to enter the values.
Percentage (split) - Enter the achieved progress as total progress of the group. A min and max value is shown and the user can only enter a value within the range of the min and max value.
Distance (split) - Enter from and to in distance coordinates, where the work has been performed.
Quantity (split) - Enter from and to in distance coordinates, as well as the achieved quantity. If the quantity is entered, then based on the start distance an end distance value is calculated automatically, as long as you do not change the start value. If you change the start distance value, then you have to press the button: Calculate end distance based on quantity. This applies the planned quantity per distance. If the quantity entered for the given distance range is smaller than the planned, Tilos asks to create an additional Activity for the remaining quantity in that section. This can then be executed in the next progress period.
Quantity (split linear) - This progress model behaves similarly to the Quantity Split progress model, but distance coordinates cannot be entered or changed; entering quantity automatically calculates the split point. Quantity split is like a simple percent complete measurement, based on quantity. Further calculations use the same behavior as a quantity split. For microprogress, distance values are ignored. Distance coordinates are calculated based on the entered quantity.
