Edit XML Profile Object Field Lists
Use the Object Attributes dialog to define which attributes should be exchanged for an object. In the upper part of the dialog, there is a sorted list of defined exchange attributes. For each attribute, the name defined in Application 1 is listed. The following column defines if data is imported or exported or both.
Ways to access
Select File > Import/Export > Tilos data exchange (XML) > Next > select a data source > Edit > Edit (beneath the Insert button).
Steps
App 1 points to the Name of Application 1 in the previous dialog.
Click Add to append new items. The Add Exchange Attribute dialog is opened. Application 1 and 2 are replaced by the names.
If you select a data field in the upper list (here Tilos), then for Application 2 (here MS Project) the best fitting field is suggested (e.g., for the start date of Tilos, the start date of MS Project is suggested.
You may change the content of the Combo for MS Project to make an alternative data mapping.
Click Delete to remove single items.
In the lower part, the data for one line is shown. On the left side, the values for Application 1 are listed on the right side for application 2.
The data are always handled as a couple for 2 applications.
Selected field - If you selected another entry the further field attributes get exchanged. For each application, the available fields for each object are stored in an INI file (.ini) in the folder, where the editor is installed.
Name - This is the name of the data field that gets exchanged.
Tag name - This is the name of the tag used in an XML data file. Based on the tag name, attributes from application 1 are mapped to application 2.
Import - This is the internal variable of the function name, that is used to import the data to the application. This field should not be edited, only in special cases, where UDF fields are used. Tilos itself has only a fixed list of data fields, no
Export - Same as for import.
Default value - If this field is not empty, then on Export this value is exported and not the values from the data field. On import, this value is taken instead of the value from the XML data file.
Extra parameter - This field is used in combination with Category (Code data). If CategoryPath is a selected field for an activity attribute, then the name of the category gets entered in this field. This field is only used in this context.
